EVENT RULES AND SAFETY POLICY

1. RESPECT OTHER PARTICIPANTS

Treat every participant respectfully.

2. CONSENT AND BOUNDARIES

Participants control their own boundaries.

You may end a conversation or decline to answer a question.

Do not pressure another participant to:

  • Meet in person

  • Discuss sexual matters

  • Provide personal information

  • Explain why they are not interested


3. HARASSMENT IS PROHIBITED

You may not:

  • Threaten another participant

  • Stalk another participant

  • Intimidate another participant

  • Repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop

  • Make unwanted sexual comments

  • Engage in sexual harassment

  • Make credible threats of violence

  • Deliberately humiliate another participant

  • Attempt to manipulate another participant through intimidation or coercion


4. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Participants are encouraged to use only their first name, or first name and last initial.

Do not voluntarily display:

  • Home address

  • Personal financial information

  • Social Security number

  • Government identification number

  • Banking information

  • Credit card information

  • Passwords

  • Other sensitive information

Do not pressure another participant to provide such information.


5. FULL NAMES

Participants are advised not to use their full legal name during the event.

However, if a participant voluntarily enters a full name into Zoom or otherwise displays personal information, [BUSINESS NAME] cannot guarantee that the information will remain hidden from other participants.


6. RECORDING

PARTICIPANTS MAY NOT RECORD, SCREENSHOT, PHOTOGRAPH, OR OTHERWISE CAPTURE ANOTHER PARTICIPANT OR PRIVATE BREAKOUT ROOM WITHOUT APPROPRIATE CONSENT AND AUTHORIZATION.

This includes:

  • Screen recording

  • Screenshots

  • Photographs of the screen

  • Audio recording

  • Video recording

  • Sharing recordings with others

  • Posting captured content online


7. CONTACT INFORMATION

Participants may voluntarily exchange contact information.

You are never required to provide your phone number, email address, social media account, or other contact information to another participant.

If another participant refuses to accept your decision not to exchange information, report the conduct to us.


8. OFF PLATFORM CONTACT

Once participants exchange contact information, communication may continue outside our service.

We cannot control:

  • Text messages

  • Phone calls

  • Social media messages

  • Emails

  • Dating app communications

  • In person meetings

  • Other interactions occurring outside our service

Participants are responsible for deciding whether and how to continue communication.


9. IN PERSON MEETINGS

If you decide to meet someone in person:

  • Tell a trusted person where you are going.

  • Meet in a public place.

  • Arrange your own transportation.

  • Do not provide your home address to someone you have recently met.

  • Consider limiting alcohol or other impairing substances so that you can make informed decisions.

  • Leave immediately if you feel unsafe.

  • Contact emergency services if you believe you are in immediate danger.


10. FRAUD AND FINANCIAL REQUESTS

Participants may not use the service to solicit money or financial assistance from another participant.

Be extremely cautious if someone you meet through the service:

  • Requests money

  • Requests an investment

  • Claims to have an emergency requiring financial assistance

  • Requests gift cards

  • Requests cryptocurrency

  • Requests bank information

  • Requests access to an account

  • Pressures you to send money

11. COMMERCIAL SOLICITATION

Participants may not use events primarily to sell products, services, investments, memberships, employment opportunities, or other commercial offerings without authorization.


12. IMPERSONATION AND DECEPTION

Participants may not impersonate another person or deliberately provide materially false information for fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.

Participants should understand that [BUSINESS NAME] does not independently verify every statement made by participants.


13. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

Participants may not use the service to facilitate illegal activity.


14. REPORTING

Concerns may be reported to:

When reporting a concern, provide as much useful information as reasonably possible.

This may include:

  • Your name

  • Event date

  • Approximate time

  • Participant information

  • Description of the conduct

  • Screenshots or other evidence, where appropriate

Do not put yourself in danger to collect evidence.


15. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency or law enforcement authorities.


16. COMPANY RESPONSE

When appropriate, we may:

  • Warn a participant

  • Remove a participant from an event

  • Suspend participation

  • Terminate participation

  • Restrict future registration

  • Cancel a ticket

  • Investigate a complaint

  • Preserve relevant business records

  • Cooperate with law enforcement or governmental authorities when legally required or otherwise appropriate

We do not guarantee that we will take a particular action in response to every complaint.


17. NO BACKGROUND SCREENING

[BUSINESS NAME] DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON EVENT PARTICIPANTS.

Participation should never be treated as evidence that a participant has no criminal history.


18. SAFETY DISCLAIMER

No online dating service can eliminate all risks associated with meeting strangers.

Our safety procedures are intended to increase awareness and reduce avoidable risks.

They cannot guarantee your safety.


19. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for:

  • Your own decisions

  • Your own conduct

  • Information you voluntarily disclose

  • Decisions about whether to continue communication

  • Decisions about whether to exchange contact information

  • Decisions about whether to meet someone in person

  • Taking reasonable precautions


20. ACCEPTANCE

By participating in an event, you agree to comply with these Participant Rules and Safety Policy.

Violation of these rules may result in removal, suspension, termination, cancellation, or restriction of future participation.
